Deployment 2007

We left for our 7-month deployment last week. We aren't supposed to talk about where we are or where we are going; especially on a publicly-viewed web site like this one... but suffice to say, its gonna be hot where we are going. You can email me by clicking on the link in my profile. We also get mail out to sea, the address is on the ship's web site (www.o-kane.navy.mil). I can't put up any pictures while we are underway because we have such limited bandwith, but I should be able to write periodic updates. Well, here's to hoping 7 months goes by quicker than normal.
